CareFusion features the highly-portable MicroLab™ Spiro-meter that incorporates a built-in printer, clear color touch screen, PC software and optional pulse oximeter, and it is suitable for physicians' offices ,as well as bedside testing. Individuals can set up connection between MicroLab spiro-meter and Medical Spirometry PC software to facilitate data sharing, reporting and trending with their Electronic Health Record (EHR), as well as other PFT systems belonging to CareFusion family, which includes Vmax software. The high-definition color touch-screen helps to access MicroLab Spiro-meter's functions easily. Optional pulse oximetry module is responsible for efficient and accurate measurement of Sp02 and heart rate (not available in US). The device comes with bronchial provocation PC software, which can be downloaded free of cost, along with full ATS/ERS protocols; this can be used for challenge testing with the aid of the MicroLab Spiro-meter. The machine is fully compatible with ATS/ERS 2005 standards. One of its attractive useful features is its memory that is capable of storing records of up to 2000 patients. The fully configurable Spiro-meter allows selecting maximum 41 indices with predicted values and language option.
