Olympic Vac-Pacs are the fast and safe technique of positioning patients for surgery. It is being used for the last 40 years in thousands of hospitals for getting better surgical positioning. It is made up of soft, polyvinyl outer layer which is filled with numerous tiny plastic beads. It is molded around a patient and then a suction line is attached to special valve. After the creation of vacuum, atmospheric pressure helps in combining the beads together in perfect molded shape. After the disconnection of the suction line, the product maintains its molded shape. The valve is opened after the surgery and Vac-Pac in turn becomes soft and ready to use again. The Vac-Pacs is available in various sizes: Size 11 is U-shape; Size 23 is small and has U-shape cutout; Size 30 is medium sized, with U-shape cutout; Size 31 is large and comes with U-shape cutout; Size 32 is Extra-Large, comes with U-shape cutout; Size 35 is T-shaped with flaps; and Size 40 is like a large rectangle.
