With full DICOM RT connectivity to all therapy planning and virtual simulation systems, CARINAsim® for DORADO takes an important step forward for the advancement of laser simulation software. The DICOM RT-plan data is imported into the system and the patient surface is reconstructed with all the projections of the prescribed MLC beams. Within an intuitive interface, the surface of the patient is displayed in a 3D patient view with the projection of the following beam elements: isocenter, bounding box, MLC shape and beam entrance point.
