NovaDose developed by Novarad to provides integrated Radiation Dose Monitoring that tracks and receives alerts on historical radiation dose which protects your patients and the entire healthcare facility. NovaDose provides alerts that is based on user defined dose threshold when a test is initiated. NovaDose searches the current PACS database and creates a dose profile for each patient upon its integration with NovaPACS. Historical alerts will then be triggered upon testing which can be sent via email to RIC, HIS and may others. The Dose Monitor software also eliminates manual dose monitoring of physicians for data collection and evaluation to meet reporting and regulatory requirements.
