A Digital Vision version of the SL980 is now available. Combining the Phoenix software with a digital beam splitter allows for high-performance for images and video acquisition. The software is also designed to examine patient information and maintain a patient database. The Digital Vision version of this system by CSO is distinguished by its superior digital camera and Sony CCD sensor. The maximum resolution is 1392x1040. With the use of a high quality Color correction algorithms, up to three minutes worth of high-quality videos and images can be acquired and saved. Firewire technology maximizes camera performance, and an additional software application by CSO provides optimization for ophthalmic purposes. The Phoenix software works with IP and TCP networked stations. The data can be shared with other CSO instruments.
