This unit comes with a 19-inch high-definition LCD display with a resolution of 1280x1024 and a contrast of 500:1. It is supplied with a 50-key remote control so that every test can be aimed from a distance. The unit also comes with some intuitive keystrokes. Optotypes offer scalability to match any room size. All of the optotypes in the CSO Vision Chart follow standards recommended by international authorities such as the American National Research Council, European Committee for Standardization, International Organization of Standards institution, and the Universal Concilum Opthalmologicum. During testing, the optotypes are automatically randomized to avoid the patient’s memorization. The vision acuity notation is selectable: Decimal, LogMAR, Snellen fraction (feet) or meters, and Monoyer.
