The MicroThermX microwave ablation system uses a small generator and an amplifier that works for three antennas. These antennas or probes are placed in a non-parallel arrangement to not only make it easier for procedures to be run but to make it easier for more ablation zones to operate. These antennas are also used to improve the total power deposition of the device, thus creating uniform results and a better chance with reviewing the right kill temperatures. In addition, the touch screen control makes it easy for this to be set up in terms of the inputs being used, the power, varying time and antenna quality being used. This also works with a small foot print that is very easy to store and works with a sturdy wheeled stand that is easy to push and move around.
