The BSD-2000/3D works with therapeutic hyperthermia treatments to handle solid tumors. It uses radiofrequency energy to get energy out with a power source and uses several antennae to work around the patient's body to make it possible. This three-dimensional device uses twenty-four dipole antennas and will heat a cancerous tumor to 40-45 degrees Celsius or 104-113 Fahrenheit. This will impact the tumor without putting normal tissues at risk. This is thanks to the temperatures' ability to damage hypoxic cells with low pH levels above all else. This also works with plans to keep cellular repair controls in check so proteins can be cleared and apoptosis may start in the patient's body.
