Medistim has developed a range of PeriVascular transit time probes for measuring blood volume flow for the surgical applications not covered by the sizes of the QuickFit probes. The probes are available with or without handle, sizes 6 – 27 mm. Optimal acoustical contact with the vessel wall is ensured through the unique Flat Front Face Probe Design. This facilitates validated measurements through an indicator on the screen – ensuring fast, stable and reproducible results. Our PeriVascular probe series use a removable slide to secure the vessel within the probe. The slide is removable to ease the cleaning and sterilization process. On the small probe sizes the slide is fixed to the cable or neck (Fixed slide), while the probes larger then 7mm have a slide that can be removed from the probe head (Large slide).
