These KaVo SONICflex instruments are designed to allow periodontic treatment and therapy procedures to be undertaken in a minimally invasive manner. The angle of these instruments' tips, combined with the rounding of the tip surfaces, enables gentle and effective cleaning of pockets up to a depth of 9mm. The gentle cleansing process these tips provide protect the both the root surfaces and surrounding soft tissue from damage. While only two tips, a left deflected tip and a right deflected tip are needed for complete cleaning, a straight tip is also available.
