This system offers advanced digital ECG management. It allows for long-term storage of all ECG waveforms, so that they can be reviewed, edited and accessed remotely from any part of the enterprise network. High security can be expected with a single sign-on. Administrators can assign role-based permission and patient information access to Microsoft Active Directory and E-Scribe user accounts. Authorized Windows users can access and view the ECGs without having to enter additional credentials. Record-specific audit trails are programmed to track all ECG activity. Automatic processing and routing is customizable. The ECGs can be routed to any destination at any time. They can also be printed, faxed, exported, e-mailed, etc…, as well as categorized according to demographics, automatic measurements, acquisition priority flag, and referring physician.
