The MI-500 is an LED-based exam light that's affordable and easy to use. This uses a cool white light and is just as easy to use as many of the entry level models you'd find out there. The big difference is that it has an LED light that produces very little heat and uses less energy. It uses about half the energy that a traditional halogen bulb would use. The setup is made with minimal heat problems and has a housing output rating at 3,700 foot candles or 40,000 when at 24 inches apart. This is designed with a whiter light and uses halogen to make everything bright. The lack of heat is especially useful. You don't even need to get replacement bulbs or fuses for it to work. This keeps the cost of using this from being too high.
