An mVAC system comprises of 2 to 6 vacuum pumps of air-cooled rotary vane type and a central controller, equipped with intelligent graphical user interface. Medical vacuum system pumps can work on its own in order to meet the desired vacuum flow. These systems are well suited for frequent and continuous start/stop operation. At point of connection, mVAC systems retain the vacuum level at -600 mbar (e) / -450 mm Hg or below this value. They have a wide range of application area which includes Liposuction (lipoplasty) , Cleaning endotracheal tubes, Gastric emptying, Collection of other kinds of bodily fluids, Chest and lung drainage, Assisted wound closure, Wound drainage and removal of surplus blood at the time of surgery.
