Ultrasonic cleaning unit Ultramatic Ultrasonic cleaning of surgical and micro-surgical instruments is applied as highly effective pre-cleaning method to remove persistant soil. Even dried-on incrustations are reliably removed and in combination with a disinfectant (preferably made by Chemische Fabrik Dr.Weigert) the instruments are disinfected. As ultrasonic treatment enhances the disinfecting effect the holding time is reduced. Sensitive micro-surgical instruments are gently cleaned (type Sonorex / by Bandelin) and their life-time prolonged.
