With the help of a MALDI-QIT-TOF mass spectrometer, the Accurate Glycan Analyzer is able to identify glycan elements and has the ability to detect glycans with its high sensitivity features. It also has a database comprised of measured MSn spectra of known glycans. The spectra from the database can be matched with the unknown samples to make precise identification of the glycan structures.
