A cooling plate provides and ideal method of cooling and freezing materials while allowing the materials to be processed during the the cooling cycle. The FRYKA cooling plate can satisfy a wide variety of scientific laboratory requirements. It operates to a temperature of -30 degrees Celsius. Three models are available. Model KP 280 does not have adjustment controls or a magnetic stirrer. Model KP 281 does have adjustment controls, while the Model KP 283 unit features both adjustment controls and a magnetic stirrer. It takes about 6 minutes to cool the cooling plate from room temperature to freezing, and about 30 minutes to attain a -30 degree temperature. The cooling plate measures 19.5 x 24.5 cm.
