The D400 is fully constructed from glass with a silica sheathed heater to ensure top quality distillation at a low cost. The device has been fitted with a control unit that will turn the heater off when the collecting reservoir is full. This safety feature has been designed to prevent the overflow should the system be left unattended. The unit also comes equipped with two independant thermostats to prevent over heating should the water supply be interrupted.
