The Labnet Prism Microcentrifuge is an easy to use, high performance unit that comes in a modern, attractive package. The microcentrifuge features a unique air cooling technology, a large, updated control panel with an easy to read liquid crystal display, and a single control knob allows the operator to adjust the speed from 500 to 15,000 rpm. A timer is included that can be set from 0.5 minutes to 99 minutes, or the centrifuge can be set for continuous operation. The unit holds up to 24 standard 1.5 or 2.0 ml tubes having either skirted or conical bottoms. The 24-place rotor allows easy access to the tops of the sample tubes and protects the tubes from breaking by supporting them along their entire length. The Prism microcentrifuge can be operated from either a 120V 60 Hz or 230V 50 Hz power supply.
