The Orbit 300 multipurpose digital vortexer by Labnet uses up to three interchangeable platforms to accommodate a wide range of sample containers. The Orbit 300 platform, which is covered with a non-slip ribber mat, will hold a variety of items, while the microplate platform will accommodate up to four microplates. One of the platforms features spring-loaded retaining bars if there should be a need to shake the contents of bottles, flasks, or other containers. The net result is a vortexer that performs as a multipurpose unit in every sense of the word. The control unit enables you to choose among vortexing, shaking, mixing, or agitating movements, as well as to set the time from 0 to 99 minutes and the speed from 100 to 1,200 rpm, both of which are digitally displayed. The Orbit 300 can also be set for continuous operation. The three interchangeable platforms are available separately.
