The BariMaxx™ II is therapy system side-exit bariatric hospital bed that is used for providing media-Surg patients having maximum weight of 1,000 lbs with well-furnished, sophisticated pressure redistribution surface. Combining the features of BariMaxx II and MaxxAir ETS™ MRS it can be configured with Power Drive System that maximize its efficiency. BariMaxx II beds incorporates use of Self Adjusting Technology™(SAT) along with AtmosAir™ Fit MRS, in order to offer a non-foam, non-powered and continuous pressure redistribution surface while minimizing the risk of pressure ulcers. This expandable, side exit hospital bed is suitable for the patients with maximum weight of 454 kg (1,000 lbs), who are susceptible to developing pressure ulcers and require weight monitoring on a regular basis. In spite of having so many useful and advanced features, BariMaxx II beds are contraindicated for patients weighing above the maximum permissible range that is 1,000 lbs, and suffering from skeletal and cervical traction and vertebral fraction.
