The product, BariMaxx™ II helps in providing power aided transportation of BariMaxx II with Power Drive System which helps in lowering the risk involved in handling bariatric patient by enabling a single caregiver to safely transport the patient all around the healthcare clinic or hospital. The user must go through some guidelines of the product usage like minimizing the speed when operating in slopes, should not be operated on slopes which exceeds ADA recommended guidelines like greater than 7° slope, Power Drive Systems should not be operated on the outdoor walkways, ramps or in parking lots. The power cord should be unplugged from the wall socket and stored properly before transportation. Before lowering the bed, it should be ensured that the area below the Power Drive System is clear. The person operating the device should ensure that people are not trapped by the device.
