This blood glucose monitoring system has auto-coding Biosensor Technology so testing is easy, fast, and accurate by eliminating coding errors. It's small, compact, and easy to operate. The system provides quick, accurate results in approximately 5 seconds and only needs a small 0.5 ?l blood sample and AST function to minimize pain. It saves the last 500 test data with its large memory capacity and includes an averaging function, and there is optional plasma equivalent or whole blood calibration. It automatically switches on and powers off and includes a no-touch test strip ejection so blood contact is avoided. The large LCD display is easy to read, an alarm function for suggesting testing, and glucose level flags for pre and post-meal readings. Data can be downloaded to a PC and warnings indicate possible error sources.
