The AccuSpot is utilized for collecting fractions eluting from Capillary/Nano LC online. The LC micro-fractionation is automated, as is spotting and preparation for MS analysis. The system allows for multiple plates to be spotted continuously, and this increases to a maximum of 9 Shimadzu or 18 ABI plates with the plate changer. The software is easy to use and enables total control over procedures, such as the spotting operation, setting the matrix flow rate to the spotting pattern, and generating reports. The AccuSpot features a CCD camera meaning that the spotting activity and status can be viewed on the PC screen.
