This hand held Doppler, the Pocket Dop II, is intended for use for vascular and obstetric use. It has led the industry for more than 30 years in hand held Doppler technology. It has interchangeable probes for vascular and obstetric purposes that enable it to configure to a patient's specific needs. The obstetric probes are available in 2 MHz or 3 MHz and are used to hear the heartbeat of the fetus. Vascular probes are available in 5 MHz or 8 MHz and can be used to evaluate a patient's risk for peripheral arterial disease, stroke, deep vein thrombosis or other vascular conditions.
