The cone stent is made to keep water flow in check and works to create a fistula in the bronchi. This has a distal end that is beveled and made with a cone shape to support its carinal side and tracheal wall. The cone stent uses no anchors and has smooth walls that keep it safe. This is also used with the main bronchi to promote a healthy setup in the body. This may be used in lieu of a regular stent and will operate after the large bronchi or lung cancinoma occlusions develop.
