KAV-1 is a round shaped reusable anaesthetic device which can be sterilized in autoclave.the device contains a single directional inspiration and expiration circuit with a CO2 absorber system.It is specifically designed to be used with low flow and can be used in all kind of anaesthesia.The instrument is made up of stainless steel,brass,polycarbonate Apec HT and silicon.The resin Apec HT is used because of its excellent thermal and mechanical resistivity.the device is composed of APl or over pressure relieve valve and a spontaneous manual ventilation system with reservoir bag.Along with a Wrigth spirometer and pressure gauge of the airway, the instrument has a humidity camera to monitor the humidity level.The instrument can be assembled easily and very easy to use in any anaesthetic situation.
