The DC-STIMULATOR MR is utilized for conducting non-invasive transcranial direct and alternating current stimulation. This procedure is for use specifically during magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The CE-certified medical device is a micro-processor controlled constant current source which meets the highest safety standards. The DC-STIMULATOR MR is able to detect insufficient contact with the skin and can automatically terminate the stimulation. This ensures exclusion of any injury occurring to a patient. The DC-STIMULATOR MR has one channel which gives unipolar (DC) and bipolar (AC) stimulation. It has an adjustable range of current and strength of current, as well as an adjustable application time of up to 30 minutes. The frequencies are adjustable up to 250 Hz and the phase is freely adjustable.
