The Mini 3000 opthalmoscope offers consistent bright light and color rendering providing comparison with the HEINE XHL Xenon Halogen Ophthalmoscope. The device offers thermal management for providing a consistent light throughout its working life. The device is maintenance free and does not require replacement of LED lights. The opthalmoscope provides an excellent bright light with color temperature 4000 K, color rendering index > 95, and > 90 rendering index of the color red. The device runs on battery and also provides indication of the battery charge. The device when switched on emits maximum intensity light and gradually adjusts with the present battery charge which provides an indication of the battery charge level. The fade out function gradually reduces the light intensity which indicates the requirement of charging. The battery provides an operation period of up to 10 hours.
