The light, compactly designed PICCOLO portable audiometer by Inventis can be controlled from either a direct connection to a PC through its USB port, or from an iPad by means of a Bluetooth connection. The PICCOLO is available in three configurations; a Basic pure tone audiometry unit that provides an AC output only, a Plus pure tone model that provides both an AC and BC output, and a Speech model that provides both pure tone and speech audiometry signals. Connecting to an iPad requires use of the Inventis Maestro app, which is readily available for downloading. The PICCOLO weighs only 300 grams, has a small footprint, and does not require a power supply when it is hooked into a PC USB port.
