Currently the following tests are available: HbA1c for monitoring of diabetic control, Albumin/Creatinine Ratio (ACR) urine test for assessing degree of diabetic renal complications and C-Reactive Protein (CRP) test for differentiation between bacterial and viral infections and whether antibiotic treatment is merited. The latest addition to the test panel is a lipid panel. Test for quantitative determination of albumin, creatinine and albumin/creatinine ratio (ACR) in human urine, used for early identification of renal disease in patients with diabetes and/or hypertension. Test for quantitative determination of glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) in human whole blood, used to monitor metabolic control in patients with diabetes.
