The 880 scanners are automatic scanners with white light. They have great features like being equipped with the SmartOptics technology with “structured white light by projection of fringes”. It allows getting a very short time of scanning, an increased accuracy and a better perception of the undercut milling areas which are essential in the implant industry. The 880 scanners are proposed with Dental CAM/CAD software including the Exocad® technology with basis module supplied in scanners. They differ mainly by their level of equipment options which are the “Abutment” module (Implant Pillar) and the “Virtual Articulator” module for this 880 scan.
