The product uses a Camouflage coating to achieve a full biological principle of coating. This type of coating is a 1 to 1 copy with the endothelial arterial glycocalyx. This gives a permanent coating that allows for long term protection and the process of endothealization. The Camouflage reduces the restenosis rate since it is athrombogenic. Its high quality surface comes from a homogenous stent surface which provides ideal adaption with the vessel wall, thus reducing the possible risk for thrombosis. The thickness of the surface coating is around 80 to 100nm.
