The Aurora proprietary transmit and receive RF coils are built into the patient’s exam table to provide uniformity across the entire image. This design allows a homogeneous signal for a large volume-reducing hot and cold spots seen all over the whole body systems. With the Aurora System, the result is a more homogeneous fat suppression. Aurora’s unique RF coils offer full coverage of both breasts, the chest wall and axillae in a single bilateral scan without compromising the contrast resolution. The homogeneous coverage of the Aurora Breast MRI magnet is 36cm X 44cm, allowing for true 3D bilateral fat-suppressed imaging.
