The GORE Tri-Lobe Balloon Catheter is used for successful positioning of an endovascular graft with refinement. They are available in two 18 Fr introducer sheath compatible sizes. The small size is especially used for gore excluder endoprosthesis while both the sizes are used for thoracic endoprosthesis. The device consists of trilobe balloon catheter and during its inflation, hemodynamic pressure is significantly reduced. This process helps to minimize the blood pressure spikes and movement of endoprosthesis. The lobes are manufactured with unique design which allows a continuous flow of blood around the lobes during its inflation. The design allows a uniform and simultaneous inflation and deflation resulting in a decreased hemodynamic pressure and enhancing the flow for distal perfusion by upto 80%.
