BIPS (Blood Pressure System) is the wireless blood pressure meter used in the HELMiS system designed and produced by Microsensor. This meter uses the oscillometry principle to perform a non-invasive measurement of blood pressure, with preselected frequency and modality. The sensor sends the measured data (via radio signals in 2.4 GHz ISM band) to a server for data storage and handling. The measured data are Diastolic pressure (mmHg), Systolic Pressure (mmHg), Average Pressure (mmHg) ad Heart Rate (bpm).
