Innova™Basic is used to provide alternating pressure therapy in an automatic mattress overlay system. The Innova™ Basic Mattress Overlay is powered by an analogue therapy unit which alternately inflates and deflates every 12 minutes. This gives gentle support to bedridden and immobile patients on a standard or profiling bed. The Innova™ Basic Overlay System is a specially constructed single layer mattress overlay to be used on top of an existing mattress powered by an electronically controlled analogue Therapy Unit. This device includes a pressure sensor to continuously monitor and regulate Mattress Overlay pressure.
