The AFO Light is strong yet lightweight, providing support only where it is needed in cases of mild to moderate drop foot and contraindications. The result is more aesthetically pleasing and is less bulky for the user. It utilizes the energy storing properties of carbon fiber for increased dynamic motion and an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. Using Flex-Foot technology, the AFO Light offers propulsion assistance and an energy return of the limb at the toe off. The foot is supported against ground reaction forces by the stiffness gradient at the heel and toe. The device is easy to put on and take off, and can support a weight of up to 100 kg.
