Following the usual norms, the distance between two optical paths is directly proportional to the quality of the stereoscopic view. However, an inverse relation is shared between the former and the binocular field of the view in fundus experiment. This is also applicable vice-versa. This had been kept in mind at the time of attainment of the optics that is ideal for fundus examination. This is possible when the inter-optical path distance is optimally selected to be 22mm. These binocular tubes are converging in shape. The binocular tubes are converged at an angle of 6 degrees. This allows simple binocular fusion, thereby resulting in an observation free of strain. Outstanding optical performance is ensured by the modernized multi-coating, which is applied to the lenses prevailing in the microscope. Bright images are generated which are independent of ghost and flare. This enhances the quality of diagnosis and experiment.
