The LM-500 has a sleek design that can compliment any room design being a quality lensmeter. It can measure standard and high index, bifocal, trifocal, progressive and prism lenses. Not to forget, it can give measurements of hard and soft contact lenses. There are customizable shortcut buttons on the 5.7 inch colour TFT LCD touch panel that provides clear imaging with that shortcut menu. It takes simultaneous measurements of UV transmittance while also measuringthe power of the lens. In PD mode, the LM-500 measures interpupillary distance with automatic left and right detection. It has an automatic switch system to CL mode, and when in use, if the nose piece for measuring contact lenses is set, the LM-500 automatically switches to the contact lens measurement mode.
