The EMS AIR-FLOW 3.0 PERIO allows the dental practitioner to perform both subgingival and supragingival treatments safely and efficiently. While the popular AIR-FLOW PLUS handpiece permits access to periodontal pockets of up to 4 mm in addition to allowing access to the total visible tooth surface, the AIR-FLOW 3.0 PERIO handpiece is able to provide access to pockets up to 10 mm deep. The 3.0 PERIO handpiece is also portable, making it an ideal solution for removal of biofilm from virtually any part of a tooth where it may be present. Both the handpiece an its associated powder chamber are based on the latest advances in ergonomic design. The slim shape of the handpiece makes it particularly easy to grip and rotate, making it a very wrist-friendly instrument. The powder chamber is positioned so as not to obstruct the view of the patient's mouth.
