Cook Spectrum Glide® catheters are intended for venous pressure monitoring, blood sampling and administration of drugs and fluids. The catheters have smooth insertion because of its EZ-Pass® hydrophilic coating. The catheters are soaked in minocycline and rifampin to reduce the risk of catheter related bacterial colonization during use. This with Minipuncture Access™ takes only smaller 20 gage needle to introduce wire. The catheter comes with a cannula for better inside placement.It ought to be detached once positioning is done.
