The product is mainly designed to drain blocked biliary ducts. It comes germ free and is not reusable. Every stent is prescribed to be used with stent introducer. The device contains a positioning sleeve which is utilized to disintegrate the duodenal flap present on the stent to aid introduction inside the endoscope channel.
