Job Description

Assists CRNAs and MDAs in providing safe and adequate care to patients. Maintains anesthesia equipment; cleans, stocks and checks anesthesia trays, carts and supply areas. Prepares and assists MDAs in following procedures: insertion of arterial line, Swan-Ganz catheters and blood sugar tests. Restocks routine and emergency medications in anesthesia carts. This position also involves cleaning/stocking rooms and transporting patients. Tasks performed are in accordance with department and hospital policies and procedures and are in compliance with Alabama Nurse Practice Act. Schedule: 6:30a - 5p (4x10s), full time.
