The Training Programme Director for Trainees Requiring Extra Support (TRES) will support the Head of School in Strategic Development of the School of Surgery

The post holder will be a member of the board.

Please note there are two posts available covering the NW and Mersey regions

The Post Holder Will Specifically Have Responsibility For

  • Development and implementation of strategy to improve support for TRES trainees. This will include education and enhanced roles in development of educators and post graduate doctors in training (PGDIT)
  • Act as liaison to support PGDIT’s who have developmental needs (portfolio, targeted competencies or enhanced support) either identified by specialty specific training programme directors or educators.
