We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse Outpatient to join our dynamic team in the Gastroenterology offices at Fair Oaks and Leesburg. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients with digestive disorders, collaborating with our team of gastroenterology and hepatology experts.

Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

The Registered Nurse Outpatient provides safe/therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way in a physician practice or other outpatient setting. Incorporates differences into the provision of care while integrating knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families to include patient and family education. Achieves desired patient outcomes by using an integrated approach. Incorporates data and information to improve care and enhances outcomes while ensuring improvements in practice settings. Provides direction and guidance to others regarding practice while serving as a resource, preceptor and mentor.

Requirements

Experience:0 years of experience, but 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred.

Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 24 months of start date.

Certifications: BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required (from the American Heart Association).

Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.

Skills: Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.

Proficient Computer Skills Required.
