Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Owns two critical priorities for the global PET franchise - product quality (key performance indicators include IFR90, early complaint rate, CSOs, etc.) and productivity (key performance indicator: VCP)
  • Drive quality improvement by setting and executing on a strategy to drive the PET IFR90 to 1.0 with a multi-year roadmap with focused actions across the roadmap in programs thru partnership with product team.
  • Own the IFR90 key performance indicator (KPI) in the PET Bowler and driving continuous improvement via rigorous and high impact problem solving reports (PSRs). Taking ownership of some actions defined in programs or PSRs.
  • Beyond IFR90 as a specific priority and focus, build and maintain a PET Quality dashboard with IFR90, CSOs, complaint rate, warranty cost and cost to serve by product with targets and actual data for a continuous and clear view of progress and hot spots.
  • Lead the quality discussion in the PET and MICT monthly operating reviews
  • Measurements include: IFR90, CSOs, Warranty Cost, Cost to Serve
  • Build and execute a VCP strategy across the PET portfolio with a continuous rhythm that drives positive portfolio and product margin trends
  • Benchmark other modalities and the platforming team to establish a best practice for the PET franchise which may include regular Kaizen events, disruptive cost out workouts, cross-modality/functional sharing sessions, competitive teardowns, external agency input, etc.
  • Engage across all components of VCP including MCR, logistics, installation, CCP, warranty, service, prioritize annual focus areas and build a PET VCP dashboard to measure and provide a clear view of progress and hot spots.
  • Take ownership of some productivity actions defined in the funnel.
  • Ensure that each new product or service program follows the imaging house rules for VCP and we outpace the price erosion to lift profitability. Measurements: opportunity funnel size, annual VCP

Required Qualifications

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires significant experience in Product Management & Product Cost. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
