91st AHIMA Convention and Exhibition 2019

AHIMA’s centerpiece event is the AHIMA Convention and Exhibit. Each year, thousands come together to discuss the important topics and trends affecting us all. In response to changes in the industry and times, and inspired by new opportunities at hand, we have made the decision to rename our premier event.

The time is right for this transformation. The word “conference” better describes the learning that takes place over three full days, each year (and longer if you join us at the pre-conference!). Including the words, “Health Data and Information” better describes the industry and space where HIM roles are centered. Educational sessions, networking events, and exhibits remain a part of the conference. In addition, this new name provides greater clarity for individuals who are new to AHIMA, our profession, and the industry.
