Agfa HealthCare has announced that Kyocera has been named Best Supplier 2014 and Hewlett-Packard has been named Most Improved Supplier 2014 within the Agfa HealthCare Supplier Excellence Programme. The awards were presented to the two companies on December 1 at RSNA 2014.

Awards recognise outstanding support from suppliers

The annual Supplier Excellence awards are based on Supplier Scorecards that take into account quality, delivery, cost, relationship and responsiveness. The review board is made up of the Agfa HealthCare Executive Committee members. This year, 20 suppliers were shortlisted with two selected for awards.

"These awards give us the opportunity to acknowledge the outstanding support of our suppliers," says Luc Thijs, President of Agfa HealthCare. "Kyocera, a long term Thermal print head supplier for Agfa HealthCare's DRYSTAR printers, was selected as Best Supplier due to its continuous drive for customer satisfaction. Hewlett-Packard, supplier for hardware and storage within Agfa HealthCare's Imaging IT portfolio, was named Most Improved Supplier based on its improvement of customer satisfaction. We are very pleased with how both suppliers have moved forward with us, and we look forward to continuing our mutually-beneficial relationships into the future."
