Agfa HealthCare has announced that at ECR 2013 it will launch its floor-mounted DX-D 400 suite. The DX-D 400 is compact and versatile; it can be configured to meet specific workflow needs or budget constraints. Combined with either the latest Computed Radiography (CR) technology or with a cassette-sized DX-D Direct Radiography (DR) detector and the renowned NX workstation, the DX-D 400 offers state-of-the-art imaging technology at an affordable cost - without compromising functionality, performance or image quality. The DX-D 400 is ideal for imaging centres, private practices and hospitals that are interested in replacing or adding digital X-ray technology.

The DX-D 400 is a scalable solution offering options for tube capacity and generator size. It may be ordered with or without DR capability, allowing facilities to configure the X-ray room to meet their individual workflow and budgetary needs. It produces consistently clear, sharp images with multi-scale contrast detail enhancement provided by MUSICA2 software. The NX multi-modality workstation provides excellent connectivity with Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS).

"With the launch of the DX-D 400 at ECR, we are underscoring our commitment to providing a comprehensive imaging portfolio that really does 'leave no image behind'," explained Dirk Debusscher, Vice President Imaging at Agfa HealthCare. "The DX-D 400 can be scaled and configured to meet a wide variety of radiographic applications, offering a high-quality, cost-effective solution for the needs of facilities of all sizes."
