We continue to advocate Imaging Science and are convinced by the interdisciplinary approach and vision. It's about you - your participation is needed in order to foster innovation and excellence in imaging science, to establish a strong (European) Imaging Community, and also to secure funding for your field of research. Strengthen the Imaging Community and your field of research by being part of the society.
The vibrant city on the Rhine offers a distinctive cultural life, international fairs and congresses as well as many major events. Attractions such as the Cathedral which is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site and twelve large Romanesque churches leave unforgettable impressions. In addition, the city has a high concentration of museums and galleries, which show high-profile art treasures from all eras and styles. Cologne has with the highest concentration of pubs in a German city – more than 3,000 catering establishments invite you for a cool Kölsch (special Cologne beer). Cologne is so multi-faceted, liveable and charming unlike any other German city.
